What We Do

TrustfulTrading provides structured MQL5 programming education, automated trading software, and curated resources for traders who want to build systematic, data-driven trading strategies for MetaTrader 5.

The trading education industry is full of unrealistic promises and misleading claims. Our approach is different: practical, technical, and honest. We teach the skills required to independently develop and validate algorithmic trading systems — without shortcuts.

Every product we recommend — brokers, VPS providers, prop firms — is something we personally use or have thoroughly vetted. No recommendations are made purely for commercial reasons.

What We Offer

  • Alpha, Beta & Gamma MQL5 courses on Ablefy
  • Master EA — autonomous multi-strategy portfolio
  • Spread Recorder & Data Editor tools
  • Free YouTube tutorials and simulators
  • Broker, VPS & prop firm recommendations
  • Active Discord community

Our Philosophy

Trading is hard. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either uninformed or dishonest. Success requires realistic expectations, proper technical skills, and the patience to develop and validate a strategy before putting real capital at risk.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

The sale of courses and software provides an additional income stream that is not dependent on market phases. Developing these products takes significant time and effort — and I genuinely believe they help traders in a market that is full of false promises and poor-quality education.
This figure is likely accurate. The reasons include low barriers to entry, unrealistic expectations about returns, fraudulent trading coaches, and insufficient starting capital. Success in trading requires proper expectations, technical skills, and the perseverance to work through the inevitable periods of drawdown.
At minimum: a broker account and a trading platform (MetaTrader 5). For algorithmic trading you additionally need a trading system (an Expert Advisor) and a server or VPS to run it on. Our courses teach you how to build the EA yourself from scratch.
I primarily trade with Darwinex, which I am happy to recommend. They are FCA-regulated, have no market-maker model, and offer very low spreads and commissions. Note that their swap rates are relatively high, which matters for strategies that hold positions overnight.
I trade with MetaTrader 5, which is the further development of MetaTrader 4. For CFD and forex trading, MT5 is an excellent choice. If you trade futures, platforms like Multicharts are worth considering.
Demo accounts are useful only for testing platform functionality and confirming your EA executes correctly — not for practicing trading psychology. Emotional discipline only develops when real money is involved. Manual traders should transition to a real account with minimal capital as quickly as possible.
Anyone who actively trades should aim to earn more than 8% per year on average — outperforming a passive index investment. Living from trading becomes more realistic as your trading capital grows. The Master EA targets approximately 1.8% per month (~23% per year) at standard risk settings.
No — trading apps should at most be used to quickly check your account balance. Serious trading requires a proper desktop environment with MetaTrader 5 and the ability to run an EA on a VPS.
The main costs are: spread (bid/ask difference), commission (per-lot fee), swap (overnight financing), and slippage (execution price vs. expected price). The importance of each depends on your strategy — day traders focus on spreads and commissions, swing traders on swap rates. High fees can make an otherwise profitable strategy unprofitable.
Key characteristics: minimal aggressive advertising, no market-maker model, transparency through post-trade execution reports, regulatory oversight (FCA or BaFin), and clear fee structures with published commissions. A broker that profits when you profit — rather than when you lose — is fundamentally better aligned with your interests.
